The results of topographic coregistration of multi-temporal and multi-scale remote sensing data on the coastal zone of the Lyakhovsky Islands are presented. The length of the retreating and growing coasts, washed away during last 50 years, and retreating speed have been defined. The volume of destroyed rocks has been estimated. The main natural factors affecting the coastal dynamics and manifested in the measured quantitative parameters are revealed. The coastal typification has been carried out. The sketch map of the estimates of coast retreat is supplemented.

Key words: Remote sensing data, coastal dynamics, ice complex, alas complex, thermal abrasion, thermal denudation.
