On June 30, 2019, at the age of 85, after a serious, long illness, Ludmila Semenovna Garagulya died. She was a prominent scientist, professor of the Department of Geocryology of the Geological Faculty of Moscow State University, Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences, laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology, Honored Scientist RF.
