EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF ISOTOPIC FRACTIONATION IN WATER DURING CONGELATION ICE FORMATION

he experimental study of isotope fractionation during the formation of congelation ice is carried out. It is established that the formed ice is isotopically heavier than the original water not less than 1–3 ‰ for oxygen in any case. The difference between the values of δ18O ice and water as a result of isotope fractionation during the freezing of the closed volume of water with ice removing is about 4 ‰.
